  6. Steve Madden Satchel Review

Soooooo since I promised a review of the Steve Madden Satchel I bought a while ago, I thought I would do it now hehe! ^_^ (Busted out my leopard print throw, too XP)

I grabbed this bag right when I saw it because I thought it was soo beautiful! ^____^ It’s durable, sturdy, and very well made.  The detail work on this bad boy is impeccable! And its overall performance is a 10/10 in my book.  The body of the satchel is made of 100% PU and the lining is 100% polyester.

This is the front of the satchel. This little guy has a Turn Key Closer for it’s clasp.  There are actually buckets on this one! but, alas, the buckets are nothing but decoration. haha XP I really don’t mind it not being a functioning feature because I’m lazy and buckling and unbuckling would be too troublesome for me so I’m kinda glad its not a “real” buckle. haha! :P Once the flap has been lifted, it looks kinda plain, but what captures your eyes next is the inside of the bag.

BAM! Hit with this fusia/hot pink liner, the inside of the satchel is what really makes this bag POP! *o*  Here, we have 2 small pockets attached to the front inside (one for the cellphone and the other for that extra something that I have yet to figure out LOL! x.x) and a PU-lined zipper compartment on the backside to hold all your goodies.  As you can see, the “Steve Madden” logo made from the same PU material as the zipper lining and the shell of the bag is sewn on the outside of the zipper compartment.

So the back of the bag is kind of plain like the underflapped front except for the little gold-plated Steve Madden logo on the lower section.  (I guess Steve Madden wanted it to be known that this was his bag even from the backside haha! XP) The gold buckle and gromets on the strap match the gold accouterments that help accentuate and give a sophisticated feeling to the purse.

So overall, this Steve Madden Satchel is pretty dope. It was kinda on the pricey side though, or at least more than I would normally pay for a purse (a whopping $40! >_____< I really don’t like to think about the price for this bag because it makes me a little sad on the inside :’[), but I think it was worth it due to the extremely high quality of the bag (aaaaaand it was originally $88 so a little over 50% off!! hehe >=P).
